With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan P. (Manton) Fahey of Braintree, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Manton and Mae Manton (O'Brien); her husband James E. Fahey; and her siblings, Jack Manton (Anne) of Cape Cod and Maureen McKenna.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Reynolds of Braintree, Kim Fahey of Braintree, Donna Shuttleworth (late Scott) of Quincy, James E. Fahey, Jr. (Lisa) of Braintree and Tina Bongo of Hull; her siblings, Barbara Condon (late Gene) of Melrose, Joseph Manton (Eleanor) of Quincy, George Manton (Carol) of Norton, Nelson Manton (late Helen) of Plainville and Billy Manton (Diane); her grandchildren, Reynolds, Jr., Danielle Reynolds, Jaclyn Shuttleworth, Sydney Shuttleworth, James O. Fahey, Michael Fahey, Christopher Fahey, Mark Fahey and Austin Bongo; her great grandchildren, Theo and Wyatt; and also Jane Marks of Braintree.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (856 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184).
