She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James M. Aitken and Alison E. Aitken (Hatch); her children, Janet MacDonald (late Ralph Grande) of Hingham and Christopher Golden (Evelyn); her grandchildren, Tayla Burke (David) of Dedham, Owen Golden of Hanson and Cameron Golden of Hanson; her great grandchild JJ Burke; her granddaughters, Alicia Grande of Virginia and Jillian Raines (Grande) of Fall River; her great grandchildren, Isaiah and Amari; her sister Priscilla Carter (Aitken); and her son-in-law Ralph Grande. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the South Shore Humane Society or World Wildlife Foundation, honoring her lifelong love for animals.
