With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James P. Shannon of Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Syracuse, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles John and Dorothy May Shannon (Kelley); his wife Carol E. Shannon (Morris); his children, Lauren Shannon (Earnest Covington) of Brockton, Patrick Shannon (Jennifer) of Hopkinton and Colin Shannon (Isidora Varela Alessandri) of Weymouth; his grandson Liam Shannon of Hopkinton; and his siblings, Brian Shannon (Mary Ann) of Florida, Steven Shannon (Cindy) of California, Noreen Richards (Jim) of Florida and Kathleen Smith (John) of New Hampshire. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
