With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernestine A. Costa of Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ernestine A. Costa to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Morganelli and Frances Morganelli (Nicolai); her husband Albert Costa; and her sister Olga Scigalino. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia DiGangi (Ronald) of Braintree and Diane Maze (Stephen) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Stephen Maze of Quincy, Jena Maze of Quincy, Joseph DiGangi (Tara) of Weymouth and Anthony DiGangi of Rockland; and her great grandchildren, Joey, Emma and Drew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John's Church (21 Gay St, Quincy, MA 02169).
