She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick "Roscoe" Munroe; her brother Eugene Elder of Ben Avon, PA.; and her parents, Edward Elder and Elva Elder. She is survived by: her children, Theresa, Brian Ricciardi of Braintree, Edward, Amy Munroe of Hanover, Sean, Erin Munroe of Braintree, James and Katie Munroe of Braintree; her grandchildren, James Fay, Cameron, Danielle Ricciardi, Nicholas Ricciardi (Amy Polewaczyk), Margaret, Conor, Clifford, Ella, Michael, Gavin and Evelyn Munroe; and her brother Edward Elder of Aliquippa, PA. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Clare Church (1244 Liberty St, Braintree, MA 02184).
