She was predeceased by: her spouse Bronisław Nowak; her child Stasiu; and her sister Barbara Surówka. She is survived by: her children, Halina Haluch of Poland, Stanisława Wojewodzic of Dorchester, Józef (Agata Nowak) of Poland, Małgorzata (Piotr Gubała) of Maynard, Maria (Miroslaw Szelest) of Worcester, Tadeusz (Beata Nowak) of Braintree and Tadziu; and her siblings, Józefa Janik of Poland and Krystyna Klimek.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessie's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
