Coleman left this world on January 2, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Annie M. Mullen (McDonagh); his parents, Patrick Mullen and Annie Mullen (Faherty); and his siblings, Rev. Johnny Mullen, Joe Mullen, Maureen (Michael Flaherty) and Bernard Mullen.
He is survived by: his children, Angela (Kieran Kelly) of Braintree, Aine (Martin McDonagh) of Canton and Caroline Mullen of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Ciara Kelly, Claire Kelly, Annie Kelly, Nora Kelly, Michael Kelly, Roisin McDonagh and Fiona McDonagh; and his siblings, Patrick Mullen (late Anna Mullen) of Florida, Myles Mullen (Teresa Mullen) of Hanover, Rev. Michael Mullen of Florida and Eileen McDonagh (Paraic McDonagh) of Milton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (1020 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02125). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Church (1725 Dorchester Ave, Boston, MA 02124). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Braintree Cemetery.
