Carole K. Skellett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2023, at the age of 87, Carole K. Skellett of Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter W. Gately, Sr. and Florence T. (Keevan); her husband Raymond; her pet Beach; her sister-in-law Rosemary; her daughter-in-law Sharon (Birolini) of Braintree; her sons, Brian of Holbrook and Barry of Braintree; her granddaughter Hanna; her brother Peter (Rosemary) of Middleboro; and her nieces, Maureen (Stephen) of West Bridgewater and Joanna (Martin) of Halifax.
Throughout her life, Carole gave generously to a number of meaningful causes, among them Boston's Globe Santa, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the American Cancer Society. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances in Carole's honor be made in the form of contributions to the Disabled American Veterans Charity Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 19th, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree.
