We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 94, Anne I. Lamir of Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Floyd (Chisholm) and David Floyd; her husband Peter Lamir; her grandson Zachary; and her daughter-in-law Janet Lamir.

She is survived by: her children, David Lamir of North Kingstown, Peter Lamir (Elaine) of Canton, Paul Lamir (Bonnie) of Weymouth, Mary DuVal (David) of Hanover and Margaret Heger-Lamir; and her sons-in-law, Jack Tierney and Rodney Heger of Westwood.

In lieu of flowers, family, friends, and others whose lives Anne has touched, are invited to send donations to the Zack Heger Foundation, 232 Grove St., Westwood, MA 02090 or https://www.zackhegerfoundation.org in honor of her grandson and it's dedication to developing parks that are inclusive to all.
