He was predeceased by: his father John Sr.; his former wife Dale E. Brigham (Randall); his son Eric Nye; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Margie Brigham; his children, Shelli Harding (Rich) of Milford, Ronald Brigham of Webster, Gregory Nye (Robyn) of South Hadley, Tara Lewis (Timothy) of Barnstable, Joshua Nye (Jennifer) of Barre, Jada McConologue (Dewey) of Petersham and Miah Ufema (Alex) of Petersham; and his sister Linda Bancroft (John) of Boylston. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post 2 (450 S Barre Rd, Barre, MA 01005).
