He was predeceased by: his son Donald F. Copeland, Jr.; his sisters, Carolyn O'Brien and Janice Weldon; and his parent George Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Copeland (Prescott); his daughter Wendy Railton (David); his grandchildren, Aaron, Taylor of Bermuda, Cheryl MacDonald (James), Brandon and Alex of North Carolina; his brother Robert Copeland (Marcia) of New Hampshire; and his parent Louise Copeland (Leonard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
