She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice; and her parents, Josephine Merner and John Merner. She is survived by: her children, Angela Argento (Jim), Maurice (Nancy), John (Pat), Patricia and Margaret Gilligan (Steven); her grandchildren, Jamie, Lauren, Brian, Maura, Julianne, Dacey, Carolyne, Jack, Katie and Jennifer; and her siblings, Josephine "Sis" Timmons (Ray) and John Merner (Fran). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Veronica's honor.
