It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemarie Ryan (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosemarie Ryan to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary A. McGrath (Mullaly) and Boston Firefighter James "Buttsy" McGrath; her husband Joseph F. "Joe" Ryan Jr.; her children, Joseph F. "Jay" Ryan III, James E. Ryan (Lisa) and Christine Rizzo (Paul); her grandchildren, Rose, Nini, Kerri, Bobby, Kelseigh, Madison and Erica; and her sibling Boston Firefighter William "Billy" Boyle (Dodie).

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (55 Warren St, Boston, MA 02129).
