She was predeceased by: her husbands, Joseph Bucchiere and Louis Dioguardo; her siblings, Ellen, Theresa, Mary and Charles; and her son Robert L. Dioguardo (Carla Dioguardo).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Dioguardo (Mona), Richard Dioguardo and Joseph Bucchiere; her granddaughters, Kristin Dioguardo, Maria DeMartino (Michael) and Deanna Giffin (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Giovanna, Isabella, Alivia and Penelope.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rita's memory to the Boston Animal Rescue league or Tufts Care at Home, two causes close to her heart.
