He is survived by: his daughters, Mary R. Salerno, Patricia Grifoni (Donald) of East Boston and Christine Nano (Bobby) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Anthony Salerno (Thyia), Charles Nano (Lauren), Donald Grifoni Jr. (Scout) and Vanessa Grifoni; and his great grandchild Donald "Trey" Grifoni III. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ruggiero Family Memorial (971 Saratoga St, Boston, MA 02128). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Peter's name may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society.
