He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Hynes; his parents, John Hynes and Mary Hynes; and his siblings, Lorraine Murphy and Kenneth Hynes.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Stephen, Barbara Hynes of Norton, MA, Michael and Liz Hynes of Arlington, TX.; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Copeland (Chris), Stevie, John Paul and Michael Hynes; and his extended family, Brian and Nancy Murphy of Milton, MA.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home (22 Oak St, Hyde Park, MA 02136). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Most Precious Blood Church (25 Maple St, Hyde Park, MA 02136). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Knollwood Memorial Park (321 High St, Canton, MA 02021).
