He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Merola and Rosina Merola (Gentile); his wife Dolores Ann Merola (Cataldo); and his siblings, Carmela Swafford and Alexander Merola.
He is survived by: his children, Doreen Merola, Steven Merola (Jo-Ann) of North Andover and Paul Merola (Wen) of Irvine, CA.; his grandchildren, Steven Merola (Cara) of Bradford, Anthony Merola (Brian Monahan) of Westwood and Stephanie Jaskot (Cody) of Lawrence; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Marco Merola. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leonard Church (320 Hanover St, Boston, MA 02113).
