Monica L. Robbins Obituary
Monica L. Robbins-Grady of Windham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully from a short illness on Friday, May 6, 2022 with her two loving sons by her side. She was 61 years old. She is survived by her loving husband Harold Schroth also of Windham, New Hampshire. The two were married for four years, but were together for thirteen joyful years.
Monica was the daughter of the late Nancylee Abizaid Robbins of Arlington, Massachusetts and the late Jack D. Robbins of Bullhead City Arizona. She is survived by her step-mother Anita Robbins of Bullhead City Arizona and her Aunt Helen Abizaid Jerrier and Uncle Charles E. Jerrier, Sr. both of Milton Massachusetts.
Monica was the eldest of three children and is survived by her younger brother John C. Robbins of Medford, Massachusetts and her younger sister Margaret Ann Robbins of Pacifica, California. She is also survived by her two sons Connor Grady of Methuen, Massachusetts and Aidan Grady of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Monica was born in Santa Monica, California in 1960 and was raised in Medford Massachusetts. She graduated from Medford High School in 1979 and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1984. Later in life, Monica returned to school and received her Master’s Degree in Education, Counseling Psychology/Substance Use Disorders from Cambridge College in 2015.
Monica was a devoted mother who actively participated in her sons’ sports and education. With her beautiful smile and shining personality, she had many family and friends who loved her dearly. Monica loved cooking, music, and her work as a Substance Abuse Counselor. She was dedicated to her clients and helped many get through difficult challenges in life.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
