She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Washington and Fannie Washington (Jackson); and her sisters, Virginia Blackburn, Letha Woodard and Dyaniatha Woodard.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Washington and Raneta Curry-Washington; her grandchildren, Sahara, Massey, Ahmad Washington, Genevieve Washington and Llewellyn Washington; her brother Cleon; her sister-in-law Donna Fleming; her sisters, Vernita Coats, Gloria Washington, Glenda (J. C. Thomas) and Linda Mason; and her close friend Sherry Luster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tumey Mortuary (611 N Gibson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sheppard Street Church of Christ (502 Sheppard Rd, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Gethsemane Cemetery.
