It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Nilan (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 24, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leslie Nilan to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Leslie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Leslie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Rockwell and Margaret Rockwell; her husband Henry J. Nilan; and her children, Susan Bratton, Stephan (Christine), Christopher (Jamie) and Kimberly McCarthy (late Daniel). She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Theresa Church (2078 Centre St, Boston, MA 02132).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Leslie, may be made to St. Theresa Church or to a charity of your choice.
