Lawrence McMenamy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence McMenamy of Boston, Massachusetts, born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis McMenamy and Lorraine McMenamy (Billadeau); and his siblings, Louis McMenamy, Ann Cirelli and Patricia McMenamy.
He is survived by: his wife Karen M. McMenamy (Ritchie); his children, Kerry McMenamy (Stephan Nappellio) of Brookfield, NH, Ryan McMenamy (James Keating) of New York, NY, Matthew (Kathryn McMenamy) of Milton and Erin (Philip Roberts) of Duxbury; his grandchildren, Jack, Luke, Grace Herlihy, Abby, Frank, Edie McMenamy, Claire, Lou and Anna Roberts; and his siblings, Kathleen Avery, Maureen Fahey, Richard McMenamy, Davis McMenamy and Dennis McMenamy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (1020 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02125). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (18 Belvidere St, Boston, MA 02115).
