He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edward Sadler Mills and Marion Baile Mills; and his nephew Arthur Sesselberg. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gordon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Edward of Cohasset, Marianne, John, David, Margaret, Peter of Milton, Katrina, Mackenzie, Claire, Madeline, Alex of Hingham, Sarah, Grace and Emma; his nephew Dr. Henry Sesselberg (Tracy) of Cape Elizabeth, ME; and also, Nancy, Abby of Guilford, CT, Herrick and Graham.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra or the Marion Council on Aging.
