Joanne M. Callahan Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne M. Callahan of Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Alice Callahan of West Roxbury; and her brother John "Jackie" Callahan. She is survived by: her siblings, Marie Altmeyer of Rye, NY. and James Callahan (Marcia) of Canton; and her nephews, Paul Altmeyer (Lorraine) of Norfolk, Jay Altmeyer of Rye, NY., Doug Altmeyer of Napa, CA., Andrew Callahan (Katherine) of Wellesley, Lauren (Kristen), Patrick (Elizabeth), James and Bronwyn (Isabel).

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home (2000 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Name Parish (1689 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
