He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Doris Elwell (Hurley); his children, James H. Elwell, Paula M. Devlin and Paul R. Elwell; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Elwell, Jillian Huff, Kyle, Kurtis and James Cameron Elwell; and his siblings, Elizabeth Power, Marie Nancy Walles, Barbara Elwell, Joanne Grealish and Elaine Silva. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Chelsea Soldier's Home Chapel, Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 758517.
