He was predeceased by: his child Apostolos Hatzidis; and his sibling Constantinos Hatzidis. He is survived by: his spouse Melanie Hatzidis (Pavlidou); his child Maria Hatzidis; his grandchildren, Irene Hionitis and John J. Hatzidis; his great grandchild Melanie Hionitis; his sibling Nikolaos Hatzidis (Theodora); and his sibling-in-law Androniki Hatzidis. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above named church.
