With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of DMD Alfred J. Sotera in Boston, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, DMD shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid DMD farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his daughter Janine (David Ainscow) of Sarasota, FL; his siblings, John Sotera of Nashua, NH and MaryAnn Woodworth of Northampton, NH; and his grandchildren, Brittany Berthel of Andover, MA, Matthew and Nicholas Leonard of Sarasota, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home (390 N Main St, Andover, MA 01810). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (43 Essex St, Andover, MA 01810).
