David G. Powers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 87, David G. Powers (Boston, Massachusetts) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David G. Powers to pay them a last tribute.
Though David G. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David G. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis E. Powers and Mary Powers (Ahern); and his siblings, Carole Scalli, Captain Francis E. Powers Jr. and Boston Firefighter Richard Powers.
He is survived by: his sisters, Judith "Judy" Evers, Virginia Powers and Collette Melanson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
