She was predeceased by: her parent Reita Louise Malcolm; and her aunt Lucille. She is survived by: her father Aubrey Joslyn Malcolm; her aunts, Edna and Iris Follett; her family, Shauntelle, Duwayne, Areitah and Aubrey; her children, Barbara, Patrick, Shauntelle (Paul), Duwayne, Aubrey and Areitah; and her siblings, Merna (Daniel), Carlfred (Abigail), Michael and Alexia. She is also survived by grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, foster children, friends.
