She is survived by: her mother Willie Mae Dorris; her brother Lester Dorris III; her son Louis Miguel Romero; her aunt Beatrice Beatty of Boston, Massachusetts.; and her sisters, Gayle Appling and Teceter Hurst. She is also survived by Three grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
