He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Hemsley (Boone) and Moses Morris Jr.; his grandmother Ruth Boone; his granddaughter Milaan; his grandfather Clarence; and his brother Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Darcel Boone; his children, Joseph Boone Sr. (Marcia), Tchad Boone Sr. (Daniella), Duane Boone Sr. (Ramona) and Jessika Boone; his grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Jahari, Aneka, Tchad Jr., Angel-Gabrielle, Estraya, Denia, Duane Jr., Mason and Amir; his siblings, Lynette, Joanne, Renee (Andre), Deborah and Curtis; and his stepmother Annie B. Morris. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twelfth Baptist Church (160 Warren St, Roxbury, MA 02119). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
