We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025, at the age of 88, Ronald Ernest Champagne of Blandford, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ronald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ronald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Viola; his sister Roberta; and his nieces, Donna, Nina, Rosalie, Marla and Yvonne.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation (4 Princeton St, Westfield, MA 01085).
His service to his country and his contributions to advancing technology, particularly in support of military efforts, will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dakin Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101.
