We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 75, Rita M. Plante of Blackstone, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederic Lozeau and Marie Lozeau (Courtemanche); and her brother Richard Lozeau. She is survived by: her husband Gerald T. Plante; her children, Dr. Wendy A. Plante (Arthur Weiss) of Warwick, RI, Wayne P. Plante (Laura) of Bellingham, MA and Jennifer L. Plante of Andover, MA.; her grandchildren, Aidan, Iris Weiss, Gerald F., Garrett Plante, Catie and Ellie Edwards; and her siblings, Alice Aubin (Arthur) of Harrisville, RI, Lillian Landry of Punta Gorda, FL, Ernest F. Lozeau of Gulfport, MS and Albert Lozeau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
