She was predeceased by: her husband Roland J. Remillard; her son Daniel F. Girard; her granddaughter Katie Rose Swenson; her parents, Henry Patrick and Nora Anne Kennedy (Barrett); and her siblings, Francis M. Kennedy, Henry J. Kennedy and Mary Tuite.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Remillard (Theodore) of Cumberland, RI, Judith Anne Girard of Pawtucket, RI, Mary T. Lajoie of Millville, MA, Marguerite Girard of Mendon, MA, Suzanne R. Pierel (Andre) of Woonsocket, RI and Ann Marie Baldini (Michael) of Blackstone, MA; her daughter-in-law Patricia Girard of Woonsocket, RI; and her sons, Michael J. Girard of Blackstone, MA, Thomas E. Girard and Wailik Lau of Cumberland, RI.. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartier's Funeral Home (151 S Main St, Bellingham, MA 02019). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Church (48 St Paul St, Blackstone, MA 01504).
