He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis Jean McCann (Prince); his children, Steven McCann (Deidre) of Arizona and Kelly McCann; his stepchildren, Kathleen Garvey (Michael) of Brimfield, MA, Kevin Medeiros (Lynn) of North Carolina and Karolyn Kelsey (Wayne) of South Carolina; and his parents, Francis J. McCann and Sarah A. McCann (Wiley). He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
