He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Atsma; and his parents, Bart Atsma and Linda Atsma (Veenstra). He is survived by: his siblings, Andrew Atsma of Whitinsville, Roland Atsma of Whitinsville, Martin Atsma of Hopedale, Richard Atsma of Whitinsville and Anita MacIntyre (Gary) of Douglas. He is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews.
