He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Closs (Ferreira); his parents, Howard E. Closs and Beatrice S. Closs (Wormouth); and his sister Dorothy Coleman. He is survived by: his sons, William Closs Jr. (Monique) of Merrimack, NH, Steven Closs (Judith) of Merrimack, NH and John Closs (Donna) of Billerica; his brother Robert E. Closs of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren, Christina Closs, William Closs III, Caroline Closs and Tricia Marie Closs; and his great grandchildren, Maisie and Lily Closs.
