He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Ganshirt and Blondina Ganshirt (Winter); his wife Sarah Pauline (Forbrigger); his children, Patricia Cloonan of Douglas, William (Jacqueline) of Brewster, Karl (Kathleen) of Norfolk, Michael (Meghan) of Easton and Paul (Lenore DelGrosso) of Burlington; and his sisters, Clara Pirie and Julia Jordan. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
