He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Lesley J. McGrath (Sage); his child Erin McGrath of Billerica; his siblings, Ellen Koldeway (Dennis), Michael McGrath (late Connie) of Woburn, Mary Keenan (Jack) and Ann McGrath; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Galligan (Dave Pattison) of Bedford, Richard Sage (Mary) and Eileen Pollino. He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
