He was predeceased by: his spouse Eileen Ann Drear (Marshall); and his parent Samuel T.. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy M. Miller Crear; his sons, Aaron Crear (Kelly Pang) of Lowell and Andy Crear (Lisa) of Pepperell; his sisters, Dorothy Verdon of Merrimack, NH, Denise Grovo and Debbie Breton; and his grandsons, Rion Crear and Egan Crear.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell General Hospital, Teamwalk for Cancer, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell MA 01854.
