He is survived by: his spouse Rita Karey (English); his stepson Guy Griffey (Barbara); his daughter-in-law Marilyn Griffey of Bradford, MA; his daughters, Christine Colangelo of Buckeye, AZ, Lori Karey-Lacroix (Albert) of Casa Grande, AZ and Debra Cartwright of Casa Grande, AZ; his grandchildren, Anthony Griffey of Nashua, NH, Michael Griffey (LeeAnn) of Nashua, NH, Robert Griffey of Atlanta, GA, Jonathan Griffey of Atlanta, GA, Valerie Colangelo Bosch (Lino) of Buckeye, AZ, Nicholas Colangelo of San Francisco, CA, Ernest Carruthers (Christine) of Franklin, MA, Rachael Miles (Robert) of Bath, NH, Joseph Carruthers (Andrea) of Maynard, MA and Emily Garrand (Bert) of Attleboro Falls, MA; and his brother Semper. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
