It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley M. Roy (Billerica, Massachusetts), born in Westford, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elizabeth S. Tallard and Rice; her children, Patricia E. Battcock, Linda M. Mount (James Mount) and Leo J. Roy Jr. (Melissa Roy) of Billerica; her grandchildren, Matthew K. Battcock (Gwen), Mary H. Lawal (Adebayo), Maureen R. Venezia (Joseph), Martin M. Battcock (Christine), Jayne Mount, Bryan Mount (Gina Carceo), Scott Roy (Kayla Durgin), Daniel Roy (Megan DiVitto) and Allison DeLuca (Steven); her cousin Helen Fredette of Westford; and her siblings, Richard Rice of Westford and Doris Squeglia. She was also cherished by her 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11:30 a. m. Social distancing and face masks will be required.
