He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Dalziel and Henrietta Dalziel (Hogg). He is survived by: his wife Joann E. Dalziel (Baroni); and his siblings, Stewart Dalziel (Giselle) and Eunice Pearl Blair (William). He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews, 29 great-great nieces and nephews and two god-children.
