Shannon III (Anne) of Andover, Tara Mickalide (Scott) of North Andover and Jonathan Shannon (Lucia) of Swampscott; his sisters, Gail Finos (Bill) of Lynnfield and Heather Shannon (Stewart) of Saco, ME; and his grandchildren, Jack, Lily Shannon of Andover, Fisher and Quinn Shannon of Swampscott. He is also survived by his nieces and many wonderful friends.

“Les and Sherry Buchanan...we count Bob and Jane among our best of friends. We met them at conferences throughout throughout United States due to Bob and I having the same management careers at our respective public utility corporations. There was so much laughter when we got together. Quickly realized that Bob and I were born on the same day. When Jane died, I thought I really should have come to Boston to see him. Deeply regret that I didn't. Our condolences to all his family and friends.”
