We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Robert D. Nickerson (Billerica, Massachusetts), born in Somerville, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nickerson and Lorna Nickerson (Marden); his sibling-in-law Therrell Murray; and his brother Professor Donald Nickerson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nickerson (Fall); his children, Roy D. Nickerson (Mary), Robin Callery (Daniel) of Dracut and Carla Nickerson (Phil Hilton) of Billerica; his great grandchildren, Daniel and Julia Moriarty; his cousin Herbert Hines; his siblings-in-law, Janet and Thomas Fall (Carol Simard); and his pet Jam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 5 – 7 p. m. Per current State guidelines face coverings and social distancing will be required by all in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
