We bid farewell to Robert A. Payne in Billerica, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol E. Payne (Paul); his parents, Thomas Payne and Frances Payne (Morrissey); and his siblings, Leslie, Raymond, Thomas, David Payne, Geraldine McSorley and Joan Payne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janine Payne (Michael Schneir) of Walnut Creek, CA and Alexis Payne of Billerica; his siblings, Arlene O'Hea, Bridgewater, Sandra Boudreau of Taunton, Carol Payne of Taunton, Linda Connolly of Littleton, Deborah Connolly of Westford and Paul Payne of Plymouth; and his grandson Elijah Ambrose Schneir.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (466 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
