He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Lyons and Myrtle Lyons (Wackrow); and his son Richard F. Lyons, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Lyons (Griffin); his children, Holly Crawford (Jerry) of East Haven, CT, Barbara Deming (Kevin) of Litchfield, NH and David Lyons (Catherine) of Billerica; and his grandchildren, Zachary Deming, Molly, Maggie, Emily and Lilly Lyons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to St. Jude Research Hospital.
