He is survived by: his wife Ramila Patel; his son Sanjay R Patel; his daughter-in-law Surbhi Patel; his grandchildren, Jia and Jayan Patel; his daughter Rajeshri Patel; his son-in-law Nayan S Patel; his grandchildren, Riya and Preet Patel; his brother Bhagavan J Patel; and his sister-in-law Jaya B Patel. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.
