He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sweeney and Edwina Sweeney (Mullin); and his siblings, Barbara McBride and Paul Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Leah Caruso (Joseph) of Chelmsford and Sean Sweeney of Billerica; his grandchildren, Joseph Anthony, Sarah Catherine and Michael John Caruso; his sister Joanne Burke of Milford, NH; and his pet Jake.
