He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Susan F. Burke of Waltham. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Callahan (Burke); his children, Deborah Callahan (Sean) of Woburn, Susan Doherty (Paul) of Woburn and Joseph P. Callahan, Jr. of Woburn; his brothers, John Callahan (Mary) of Plymouth and Daniel Callahan (Nancy) of Thornton, NH.; his grandchildren, Sean, Brian, Shayla, Patrick, Aiden and Megan; his father-in-law John E. Burke; and his siblings-in-law, John Burke, Rick Arnaud, Tom, Janice Burke, Susan Burke, Jayne Marzano, Michael Burke, Neil Gannon-Burke, Ted, Bonnie Burke and David Burke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing; we ask that visitors pay their respects and exit the funeral home promptly to allow other guests to enter.
