He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen L. Piccirillo (Foster); his parents, Antonio Piccirillo and Geni Piccirillo (Giannini); his close friend Jean Hamilton; and his siblings, George, Vito Piccirillo, Bernice and Phyllis Antonellis.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sullivan (Dean) of Billerica and Michael Piccirillo (Lauren) of Littleton; his brother Paul Piccirillo of Harvard; his grandchildren, Joshua Sullivan (Lucy), Daniel Sullivan, Ana Victoria (Corey) and Anthony Piccirillo; and his great grandchild Eloise Sullivan.
